Delete branch "ci/release-tag-gate"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Problem
A v2.6.0 metadata retarget initially left the release-image tag test pinned to v2.5.1. The script was repaired before PR #105 merged, but required PR CI did not exercise it, allowing the regression to recur at the next retarget.
Change
Run the existing fast
scripts/test-container-image-tag.shas a required PR CI job step before Rust installation, and document that it is tag-shape validation—not image publication or public Axis B evidence.Validation
Local tag regression passed, deterministic Axis B static contract check passed, workflow YAML parsed, and
git diff --checkpassed. Await both required CI contexts on this exact head before non-force merge. No production/runtime or release-latch changes.
